Family home of Aussie rocker Ambrose Kenny-Smith sold for $1.07million
A piece of Australian rock music history has gone under the hammer.
The family home of Ambrose Kenny-Smith, 30, from King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizard, was bought earlier this month for $1.07million, reports the Herald Sun.
Located in the seaside town of Ocean Grove, 95.9kms from Melbourne, the gorgeous cottage features four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The house was sold off by Ambrose's mother, former Vogue model Lou Kenny, who has lived on the 834square metre block for 20 years.
Built of weatherboard, the house is a classic suburban charmer, featuring high ceilings, timber floorboards and a large open fire place.

Ambrose left the home at age 19 to pursue a music career.
He's part of Aussie rock royalty. His father was the late Broderick Smith, famed singer of music legends The Dingoes.
Broderick died in May, at age 74.
In 2013, he joined his son to appear on the King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard album Eyes Like The Sky.
King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizard will be playing in Byron Bay on July 22 for the Splendour in the Grass music festival.
