RHOC's Heather Dubrow Reveals Why She Said She's 'Done'
Past the breaking point? Heather Dubrow explains why Kelly Dodd‘s behavior at the sushi party almost pushed her to leave the show for good on part two of The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s season 11 reunion Monday, November 14.
The Bravo series’ sneak peek features Dubrow telling the group she was “horrified” that Dodd was using harsh terms, including the c-word, at the sushi restaurant to describe their costars.
Behind-the-scenes footage from the episode shows Dubrow leaving the dinner and asking to speak to series producer Thomas Kelly. “Are you f–king kidding me?” the actress says to Kelly. “I am done. This is disgusting. I will not be a part of this, absolutely not!”
The reunion clip then picks up in present day as Dubrow explains why Dodd’s remarks were so troubling to her.
“We’re sitting in a private room at a Japanese room that has paper-thin walls — everyone can hear you,” the series mainstay tells Dodd. “[And] the last time that I was at this restaurant was the last time that I saw my brother-in-law alive.”
“So to go into this restaurant where I have very bad memories and then be involved in a situation that I can’t believe I’m sitting at a table with someone that is screaming, ‘See you next Tuesday’ at the top of her lungs — whether you think my reaction was overboard or not, I’m telling you, this was my visceral reaction,” she continues. “I was horrified.”
“I took off my microphone,” Dubrow continues. “I did not want to be involved. And it was not about saying ‘I’m better than you.’ It was like, ‘We’re better than this. Our show is better than this. And I don’t want to be associated with this.'”
Watch the intense clip above. The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
